| Introduction | For some reason turning 28 was starting to get to me. There has always been something else I thought I would be doing, or somewhere else I thought I would be. But when I reflected on it, I wasn’t sure why? I mean, I have a wonderful family, the bestest bunch of girlfriends, an amazing boyfriend and we just bought our first unit together. Someone very dear to me then said “why do you keep wishing you were somewhere different, doing something else?” And so WhyWishThisAway was born. It’s an exploration about what makes me happy and why. I want to learn to love the here and now and stop being impatient with life. I want to stop thinking I am nowhere great, but realising I am in fact somewhere special. So this is it... a journey of my future and my passions. I know it will lead to great things, I can feel it. This is my collection of happiness. Why wish this away? |
