| Introduction | Broadcast Journalist and Producer, Uduak Utip Ekong is currently the News Correspondent of Akwa Ibom Broadcasting Corporation, AKBC for the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Mr Udom Emmanuel. Before then she reported proceedings of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly for the AKBC and served as SA on Media and Communications to the Speaker of the AKHA Onofiok Luke. She began her career as a Junior Reporter in AKBC in 1994 and has served as Reporter and Editor in the News & Current Affairs Directorate. Uduak has also served as Correspondent to Governors Victor Attah and Godswill Akpabio as well as the Governors wife Mrs. Alison Attah. Ambitious and Diligent, Uduaks writing is targeted at attitudinal reorientation and this has earned her several awards. She is the Curator of the Professional & Entrepreneurial Women Network Ibom Cluster (iPEWN) and Chairperson of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Akwa Ibom State Council. Uduak is a serial entrepreneur and volunteer with major organisations. She holds a Diploma in Mass Communication from Polycal, a BA in Communication Arts and an MA Mass Communication (Broadcasting) from the University of Uyo. |
