| Introduction | After I left LMC, I did my B.Com and then after toiling with books as big as me for a couple of years, I became a member of the Institute of Company secretaries of India. During my student days, I worked at the Oberoi Grand in the Food and Beverage Dept. and God help me, ate like a pig most of the time. Hence the excess weight which I am yet to shed off Excuses, excuses). After passing my Company secretaries exams and having my head and every inch of me stuffed with Corporate, Labour and Industrial laws of India, I worked with the IFB Group and rose to the rank of Senior Manager Corporate Affairs till I was whisked off my feet and my favorite India by an Astrophysics Ph.D from florida (you guessed it - I got married). The lucky guy's name is Dr. Jaydeep Mukherjee - I still retain my maiden name for all official purposes, by the way. At present I work with NASA at the Kennedy Space Center. So next time you see a space shuttle launch from the US, think about me. |
