Introduction	Writing is my passion; my family is my life! My husband TJ and I have seven children, three boys and four girls. I speak English and Portuguese, and understand Spanish and a lot of French. I love reading, swimming with my children, hiking, and going for long walks on the beach.
Interests	I love reading fantasy and women's fiction. I enjoy traveling, meeting new people, and languages. I exercise while I watch Stargate or other movies.
Favorite movies	I love Pride and Prejudice (the 5-hour version), Gattica, A Beautiful Mind, Cinderella Man, and Sixth Sense. These are the only movies I've watched more than once. I also enjoy TV series like 24 and Stargate SGI, and Alias.
Favorite music	I love anything by George Dyer and Josh Groban. Their music elevates the soul. I also like a lot of the pop music you find on the radio.
Favorite books	I enjoy fantasy and women's fiction. I loved the novel Black and Blue by Anna Quindlen. I loved The Poisonwood Bible and the Bean Trees by Barbara Kingsolver and the Probable Future by Alice Hoffman. I also like some of the urban fantasies out there like those by Patricia Briggs, Ilona Andrews, Sandy Willliams, and Kat Richardson.
