| Introduction | A look at the world from the eyes of a woman working in the sciences. I got my degree from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY, in the Science of Earth Systems. That means I studied all five spheres of earth system science: the atmosphere, the lithosphere/geosphere, the hydrosphere, the cryosphere, and the biosphere.
