IntroductionI'm a Renaissance Man, lifelong learner, and Navy vet on a quest to relearn walking after major spinal surgery left me with no feeling in my legs and feet. Every day brings new challenges, milestones, and unexpected progress—I now sit, stand, and have regained partial sensation. I use this blog to document resilience, reflect on obstacles, and share moments of hope with others seeking inspiration. My dream is to one day complete the Marine Corps Marathon, proving that determination and growth can overcome any barrier. Join me as I push limits, celebrate tiny victories, and discover strength through recovery and human connection.

Which is more important to you and why: flexibility or expandability?

For me, flexibility takes the lead. Not much in this world is black and white—life happens in the gray areas. Black-and-white, rigid, or non-flexible choices usually come into play when stakes are highest, like life-or-death situations. But for everything else, being able to adapt, adjust, and find new pathways matters so much more.
