Introduction Since starting this blog a lot has happened - I've become interested in exercise after having several health challenges Also, taking care of my now 91-year-old mother and 71-year-old husband, who has a-fib has made me appreciate the need to revise my lifestyle. In doing that - I have taken a look at how I think about the totality of being successful. I have spent a lot of time thinking about how to think and how to live. The name for what I do is awkward, but descriptive: Combosizing. The aim is to be fit, informed and fantastic. Fantastic just means choosing goals to match talents , requirements and outcomes in a meaningful way. I discovered that health is the foundation for being able to make any headway in life. Information overload and the inability to process information correctly is an obvious problem, but what is the solution? With the emphasis on testing it is a problem to set meaningful goals that allow anyone to feel fantastic. There must be a shift in our approach to education to value our students individually and make time to do that for the whole school community.
