Introduction	I started reading and studying NZ fiction ten years ago so I could understand the context of the book culture I wanted to write in. My enthusiasm for NZ lit has remained constant since I started on the journey and I wish to share my joy of NZ literature with a wider audience. I will be reviewing NZ books (both old and new) and I will also include summaries of writerly events I attend and any other snippets that I come across while procrastinating during my PhD study.
