| Introduction | I'm a realistically imperfect mother. So I've been thinking about writing this blog, which is weird because I kind of hate blogs actually. I typically look at them as a way for people to brag about how amazing they are for having epiphanies and emotional strength and being crafty. Or to complain, and I hate complaining. I want to write a blog for non perfect moms. I'm a mom who doesn't fit into ANY category - I'm not crafty, not organized, not "green," not really talented in any way. I can't bake cookies that look right. I don't iron anything, really. My idea of cleaning for company is throwing all the clutter (and there's a lot of it!) in my bedroom. I never seem to have enough time in my day, and I'm always running for my life. I do not want to receive encouragement or compliments by revealing all this stuff. I just want other moms out there to know they're not alone. It's ok to send your kids to public school (as long as you're involved), to buy regular toothpaste and store-bought cookies, and to have toys on the floor at the end of the day. In fact, it's pretty normal. |

| Favorite movies | Billy Madison, Dumb and Dumber, Anchorman, Kung Pow (Are we seeing a trend here?) |
| Favorite music | Almost everything. My Pandora station includes Baby Got Back by Sir Mix a Lot, Boondocks by Little Big Town, Wobble by Family Force 5, Man of Constant Sorrow by Soggy Bottom Boys, and Collective Soul. It doesn't get much more random. |
| Favorite books | Pretty much any good series that I can get into. The Kinsey Millhone series, The Hunger Games, The Harry Potter series, and, yes, even the Twilight series. I'm totally open to suggestions, too! |
