| Introduction | I am an artist based between Bournemouth and the Cotswolds, working across sculpture, painting, and archival art and footage. My practice is shaped by the cultures around me, particularly those rooted in place, labour, and tradition, including the Cotswolds’ wool industry and folk customs such as Morris dancing. Alongside these histories, my work explores identity, memory, and lived experience. As a gay artist, I am interested in how personal narratives sit within, challenge, or reshape inherited traditions. I often work with archival materials and found footage, historical records, and personal documents to question whose stories are preserved and how meaning changes over time. This blog documents my ongoing practice, research, and reflections as I continue to explore the relationship between identity, culture, and place. |
