| Introduction | I have been creating art for at least 49 years ~ since I was old enough to sit up and use a crayon. For 20+ years, I worked as a graphic designer/illustrator for several corporations. In the late 90’s, I even managed my own design business for a few years. Now at 51, and trying to overcome several serious health challenges … I am happy to be able to create art and to benefit from its therapeutic benefits. Art helps me breath! I also dabble in mixed media/watercolor painting, making hand-made papers and rubber-stamping. A few years ago, I established a part-time business called gg’s functional art. Functional Art is anything that has function ~ not just a painting to decorate wall space, but something you can use. Most of my FA works are created on ceramic floor tiles.
