Introduction	Here is a little background on Cakes Divine of the Carolinas: We are a mother/daughter team that has been making cakes together for several years. My mom does all the baking from scratch. The cake, filling, icing, and it is all sooo good. We both decorate the cakes, but I take the lead in that area because I have a natural artistic ability (not to blow my own horn). We both have trained under some well known cake artist such as Ashley Vicos and Norm Davis. You probably have to watch "Ultimate Cake Off" on TLC or "Food Network Challenge" to recognize those names. I have won two gold medals and a best in division trophy in cake decorating (there I go tooting that horn again). All that said, we are not a business. We create cakes for family, friends, and all of those who see and love our cakes and ask us to make them a cake. Which thankfully is more often these days. This will be our spot for sharing the cakes that we make, the challenges we come against, and anything cake related that we can share with you.
