| Introduction | I'm a teacher in Northern Virginia. I started this blog as a virtual cookbook -- a way to keep some of our favorite recipes accessible online for easy reference and sharing with friends and family. It's also become a way to get to know people and foodie friends. I like to challenge myself and try new things in the kitchen all the time. I am addicted to cookbooks and recipes and have piles of each at home. Cooking truly is a passion of mine, more than just a hobby. We are members of a CSA and have enjoyed cooking locally and seasonally. My husband Zach is a homebrewer so those are made about as local as you can get! We also frequent local microbreweries and wineries. |
