Introduction	Amongst friends my nickname is Chucky because at one time I had reddish hair and a friend said I looked like the "Chucky Doll". My real name is Phil and I am a die-hard San Diego Padres fan- hence the name "FRIAR PHIL". As a kid I attended my first MLB game at the tender age of 6. I was taken to see the Amazing 1969 New York Mets and since I grew up near NYC the METS became my team as a child. From that point on I would beg my family to take jaunts into the city to see the Mets. Win and most usually lose the appeal was the atmosphere and the excitement of being at Shea Stadium and seeing my favorite players up close.Flash foward and these days you find me on the west coast and living in San Diego for nearly 12 years. Like the Mets the Padres have had their ups and downs but it is a great organization with a heck of great ballpark _Petco Park and in no time at all I became a Padres fan. So here I am now sharing some fan based insights and opinions about the games and baseball in general! PLAY BALL!
