| Introduction | I've always been obsessed with interiors, a passion which forms one of my earliest memories aged around five. We had gone on a family holiday to Wales. All the other kids were playing on the beach while I was off on the sand dunes picking grasses and wondering how I could dye and dry them. I couldn't wait to get some food dye, (which is all that was available in those days) then get back to where we were staying and leave them soaking. My mum still has them! The following year we went to Wales again. I remember going into a trendy shop and making mum buy a juicer we couldn't really afford. Again, we still have it. From then on my obsession escalated. I love colour and things that are unusual and beautiful. I'd describe my style as eclectic bordering on eccentric, which I guess reflects my personality. All you David Bowie fans may have picked up I'm a massive fan of him too from my blog title. Nowadays, I turn my passion for design into making my family home as beautiful and interesting as can be. I'm a maximalist, so there's always plenty to write about and look at. |
