| Introduction | I was the middle child of first born American parents of Italian descent. As expected in my generation, I married at 19 and had two children by the age of 23. I guess you can say I grew about with my children (as they remind me on a continual basis). I start college when we moved to Ca.. I received a BA and MSA and started my 29 year career in technology. My first job was with Hewlett Packard and from there I had numerous positions in technology companies until I co-founded my first company in 1996. Along the way I divorced, remarried, and became a grandmother (which is the real joy in my life, since I get to make up for all the wrongs I did as a young mother). As you can see my life was simple, non adventurous and I was always looking for adventure. After 60 I told myself that the second half of my life would be filled with adventure. Knowing that I am on a tight budget, I had to look at how I could fulfill my lifetime dream in a new and different way. I did not want to be saddled with rules and norms. This brings me to Paula Unplugged After 60. |
