| Introduction | I set out in November 2011 to walk the East Coast of NZ. After 3 and a half weeks in Stewart Island, I left Bluff in early December and by April 2012 had reached north of Oamaru. I restarted my walk on 15th September 2012 from the exact spot where I left off. I reached Picton in December 2012. In January 2013 I started the North Island leg from Wellington and reached Napier in March. Due to a foot injury I didn't restart from Napier until September 2013 and by December 2013 I had reached Thames.
