| Introduction | Sewing and Crafts are not only my passion, they are my sanity!! I am medically retired and need something to keep me sane!! I have had 5 back surgeries, and so I cannot do anything that requires lifting or bending or sitting for long periods without breaks and sewing and crafts are perfect for this! I love to spend time with those that I love. I joined a Quilt Guild a few years ago and have made many good..no GREAT friends along with finding some ways to give back to the community. I have been very blessed in my life and believe that it is our duty to repay in kind or better. I believe that God provides the doors we just have to open them and walk through!! |
| Interests | CRAFTS, I love to learn new things, my passion is sewing and anything related to sewing, crocheting, reading, spending time with family and friends, spending time with grandchildren. I also love outdoor things, like hiking, camping, biking. Of course ever since I have had severe back problems, those things are pretty much a spectator sport for me now! My hope is that after the most recent of my two back surgeries heals all the way, I can at least ride my bike on flat surfaces! My dream of riding any more type of tours is pretty much gone and I have to deal with that, although I have been pretty bummed out about it! |
| Favorite movies | I don't get to see movies very much as Ican't comfortably sit in the movie theater for very long. But my all time favorite movie ever is one of the classics: It's a Wonderful Life. That is the best movie ever!! |
| Favorite music | Anything country (well as long as it is in good taste and doesn't have a bunch of swearing in it....I HATE that). I ABSOLUTELY LOVED k.d.lang singing Hallelujah at the opening of the Olympics! Rascal Flats is one of my favorite bands, along with Brooks and Dunn. |
| Favorite books | I have read way too many books to really know what would be considered my favorite! My favorite authors are: Robin Cook, Anne Rule, Jonathon Kellerman, and some other true crime writers. |
