| Introduction | Although only competing in on-line websites these days I have been an active player since first learning the game at around the time of the Fischer-Spassky match in 1972. I have competed at the highest local level and have either won or been highly placed in a few tournaments. I no longer know my local rating but based upon little more than half dozen games against players of IM strength I have a slight + score. I have also written about the game and a theoretical article was accepted and published in NIC. A few other related articles also appear on the web. I enjoy analysing games almost as much as competing. My rating has been steadily climbing at the GameKnot website since joining in October 2009. It is currently at about 1900 but still shows steady signs of climbing. |
