About me

Location Seattle, Washington
Introduction I just completed my first year of a Masters in Public Policy at the Kennedy School of Government. I'll be focusing on social and urban policy with a specific emphasis on reproductive justice work. Prior to beginning at HKS, I worked for NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia, advocating for the reproductive rights of Virginians and spent a year and a half organizing for the Obama campaign. I will be working for the Seattle Women’s Commission this summer to conduct a survey of women living in Seattle’s tent city. By collecting women's stories and opinions, the Commission hopes to determine if access to health care, including reproductive health care, is different when a woman lives in tent-housing compared to long-term or transitional shelters. I'm especially grateful to the Harvard Women and Public Policy Program and the Roy Family Fellowship for providing me with the resources to engage in this project for the Women's Commission.
