Then I was a couch potato. Now I'm a swimmer again. I've been a masters swimmer for nearly 20 years. But I'm not the sprinter I was back in the day. I can hold a heart-rate of 120 beats per minute for a long time. Mine is not a sprinter's heart. This heart is now the heart of a distance swimmer. I am past-President of the O*H*I*O Masters Swim Club in Cleveland, Ohio and past-Chairman of the Lake Erie LMSC. I currently serve on the Long Distance Committee of USMS.I am the Event Director of the Lake Erie Open Water Classic which is in it 23rd year this year. |
