About me

Location Washington, DC, United States
Introduction I grew up in a small town/city in a part of America nobody really cares about. I worked hard all through high school, simultaneously editing the yearbook, serving as Student Council President, tutoring inner city children, and still finding time to play lacrosse/soccer/crew. After I graduated as class valedictorian (remind me to recreate my graduation speech for you!) I went to an Ivy League school where I was surrounded by people who were just as awesome as me. I decided that my extraordinary talent would be best used in a career in public service. Plus, I couldn't get a banking job because I failed calculus. I told my parents that I was going to take a year off before going to law/grad school, and I moved to DC on their dime. I came to the Hill as an unpaid intern/lowly paid staff assistant and immediately realized.... that the Hill is not what it looks like in the West Wing. F.
