| Introduction | I was raised on a farm near Sarnia. I am the youngest boy of four and have a younger sister. My Father worked at Imperial Oil, farmed and cut hair on the week-ends. Mom was a fantastic homemaker and friend. They taught me good work ethics,honesty and kindness. At age 20 I joined a local police force and worked in that field for 13 yrs when I decided to make a career change . I drove a transport for 18 years, retiring early because of health reasons. Ruth, who was a nurse, & I married in 1964. We have two sons, Todd in BC and Tim in Barrie ON. We also have a 3 year old granddaughter,Kiarra who of course is the apple of our eye! we have felt even through the many ups and downs in our life e are truly blessed to have each other.Opportunity has been afforded us to do a fair bit of travelling. We have been to most states and provinces. Also have been able to travel to Australia, Fiji, Hawaii, England Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Just completed a 14 day Cruise in the Mediterranean. We treat every day as a gift and together enjoy gardening, day trips, stained glass work and movies. Ruth is busy in the Red Hat Society while I am out and about taking pictures. |
