The other is wings." ~Hodding Carter, Jr. As a new mother I have spent a lot of time thinking more about what my actions teach my child and how they will impact future children as our family grows. I am a wife, mother, sister, daughter, loyal friend and enemy to none. I struggle just like everyone else but I know that I grow through adversity. And as I strive to be a better wife, better mother, better everything I hope I can be an example for my child. May she have a strong foundation with deep roots shaped by a loving family and faithful God so she may never be afraid to take flight with wings woven by a certainty that she will be lifted up and supported by all those who love her so much.
