| Introduction | I'm married to Bob Lane, pastor for 27 years at a sweet and loving church called Faith Baptist.In June of last year, my husband retired. I am a retired public school teacher of 16 years. My husband and I have 4 children–3 daughters and 1 son. Our daughters are all married to ministers and our son and his wife are presently serving as foreign missionaries. My husband and I are the proud grandparents of 10 (6 girls, 4 boys) grandchildren. For most of my adult life I have dreamed of going to Scotland. Now that dream has been realized! Recently, my husband and I have returned from a magical trip to the land of my dreams. Where we met our son, daughter in law, 2 1/2 year old grandson (I haven't seen him since he was 3 months old), and for the very first time in person our 5 month old grandson. Our son will be studying for his masters in linguistics during the fall term of 2016 at the University of Edinburgh. Therefore, I am looking forward to returning next year and reconnecting with those I met on this trip who I now am blessed to call dear friends. |
