Introduction	Euan Blauvelt - Director of Research, ABS Energy Research. Welcome to World Energy Discussion, an online community for discussion and debate about the global energy and environmental services markets. As Research Director of ABS Energy Research, my work covers the electricity, gas, coal, nuclear, renewable energy, environmental, hydrogen and water and waste sectors. I have worked on many projects in a wide variety of these markets and I follow them closely on a continuous basis talking to many sources to develop a full, non-partisan picture of these complex and rapidly changing markets. I often attend and speak at industry events and have developed excellent relationships with many interesting and knowledgeable experts. As a market research professional it’s crucial to look at all sides of the issues and in this vein I feel that an online community for professionals involved in the energy markets would be invaluable for all as a place to share information and exchange opinion.
