Introduction | I'm an American who moved to Britain from Montreal in 1977, an experiment that turned into life without parole. Wrote Pocket Essential Sergio Leone, Clint Eastwood, and Oliver Stone, the afterword to Michael Connelly's Crime Beat and introductions to Sjowall & Wahloo's Murder At The Savoy and the Octopus Melville. Was a frequent contributor to Radio 5's Brief Lives.As Mike Carlson,I present American football on Channel 4 & the BBC,for whom I also did play by play on Olympic basketball. I've worked for Eurosport,Screensport,Showtime,Sky &many others,anything from Olympic ice hockey to Euroleague basketball,Winter University Games to pro wrestling, poker to lacrosse.
