| Introduction | I'm 34 and I'm a rookie just beginning the Specific Carbohydrate Diet. I have an active life, both physically and socially. My job is very high stress (I manage a unit of contract negotiators) which can cause my disease to get out of control at very inopportune times. Lucky for me, my Ulcerative Colitis does not severely impact my life but the flare ups are unacceptable as they slow me down. Oh, I'm also stubborn, can you tell? |
