| Introduction | Stefan and I met in 2000. He is from Iasi, Romania. I am from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. We met initially at a fruit stand in Romania, and we introduced ourselves a year later in an Internet cafe. I never intended on meeting my future husband in Romania. We are opposites in so many ways, but somehow it works! Stefan has one brother while I have four sisters. He thinks having two sons would be ideal-- I think a house would be almost empty with only two kids. Stefan loves to dance-- I do too, but somehow was blessed enough rhythm to get me to the American Idol auditions... I dream of traveling the world on a few dollars-- Stefan dreams of traveling the world too, but would prefer not to sleep in some run-down hostel somewhere and use hitchhiking as a mode of transportation. We both love to be outside, we love the water, we love warm weather, we love music, we love our families, we love kids, we love a good adventure. In June 2008, we were happy to add our first baby to our family. Natalia has been such a blessing in our lives. While our lives have changed completely with a child, we are loving being parents to our sweet little girl! She is more than we could ever ask for. |

| Favorite movies | Stefan's is THE HEAT-- if you know us, you know that. I don't think I have a favorite movie currently. Although, I really loved Paradise Road, and more recently Everything is Illuminated. |
| Favorite music | Stefan loves Julio Iglesias, BZN, recently a big fan of Pavarotti (sp?). He loves country music too. Basically, he has a song in his heart, and listens to most music. I love Jewel's old stuff. I love James Taylor, Stevie Wonder, Lauren Hill. After many years, I have grown to like country music-- well, mainly the Pop country (not the twangy stuff. I like Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Kellie Pickler.... I love Allison Krauss. |
| Favorite books | Stefan loves Mark Twain-- He read about Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn in Romanian when he was young. He also loves these World War II books written by a Russian author I can't remember-- one is The Last of the Kamikaze. I loved The Poisonwood Bible, To Kill a Mockingbird, Glass Castle... |
