Introduction	Dawn is the president of the MBBA: Midwest Bridal Professionals, a national organization of bridal salons. Also in 2009 she is the president of The Wedding Connection. This is a group of wedding professionals in northeastern Indiana. Dawn says, "I started at The Wedding Place in 1979. During that time period wedding gowns had ruffles and there were lots of long sleeves. Bridesmaids were made from Qiana knit and most had little capes. Things have changed! I managed the salon from 1981 - 1995. In the fall of 1995 I bought the salon. At that time wedding fashion had evolved to spaghetti straps for wedding gowns and lots of stiff taffeta and jewel tones for bridesmaids. Lots has changed over the years, and I can't wait to see what the future holds for wedding fashion!"
