Introduction	Doug and I were born in Asheville, NC. He grew up here, and I returned from Chattanooga, TN after high school. We married in 1994 and started ocean sailing in 2007 on a fractional sailboat, while he worked for UPS and I studied as a nursing student at WCU. He retired from UPS, and I now work as a travel RN in the operating room. Although we didn't have children, we have a manx named Mizzen. So, here we are...we finally bought our own boat in August 2011 from a great couple who kept it up very nicely. The home port for our 40' O'Day, Pieridae, is Southport, NC.
