Introduction	I grew up on Biggs Branch in Pike County, going to what used to be Millard High School which is now part of East Ridge High School. After graduating from UK in 1996 I traded Kentucky Blue for Air Force blue, becoming what my grandfather calls a "90 day wonder" and earning 2nd Lieutenant bars after finishing Officer Training School. After 10 years on active duty including a tour in Iraq in 2006 I returned to civilian life in 2007. I am blessed to have a beautiful wife and two amazing boys who are very understanding when I spend time working on my PhD in Political Science. Now I can say with 100% certainty I am educated beyond my intelligence. I currently live in Hampton, Virginia.
