Introduction | I'm an independent scholar in antebellum African American history, antislavery politics and abolitionism, local history and the Underground Railroad. MA in History from the College of Staten Island; appeared on the Emmy Award-winning show Secrets of New York as an historical interpreter. Recent projects include a successful application for designation of the Louis Napoleon House on Staten Island as an Underground Railroad Site with the National Park Service's "Network to Freedom." Current project: Staten Island Abolition, Antislavery and Underground Railroad exhibit for the Staten Island Museum. |
