| Introduction | I am a 31-year-old, happily married, and ecstatic new mother (1/14/11) who has always had an artistic side and interest in arts & crafts, but pursued a business undergraduate degree. I have slaved in the world of business for nearly 8 years with little reward and take-aways. Due to little satisfaction, I have slowly been turning my passion for developing creative decor for events, coupled with my years of event planning experience utilized in volunteer projects and organizations, into a hobby. My passion was re-ignited over 3 years ago when I began planning and designing my entire wedding. Since then I have desired to jump into this passion of mine as a business venture, but have been side-tracked by working to survive and pay bills. Now that I am on a leave-of-absence for several months to birth and care for our son, I have time to dedicate to a blog where I can openly share my ideas, projects, and passion with others, to see where it may lead. | Favorite movies | Too many to name, but here are a few of my favs: Annie, Dirty Dancing, The Wiz, Neverending Story, Grease, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, A Bee Movie, and the list goes on... I pretty much love any Disney movie and any movie with Denzel Washington, Brad Pitt, and Angelina Jolie. My favorite types of movies are mystery, drama/action, musicals, and fantasy. |
| Favorite music | I am open when it comes to music, I listen to a wide variety, as long as it is good...I like it: jazz, classical, musical/soundtracks, rap, hip-hop, R&B, latin, alternative, pop, etc |
