| Introduction | Adam is nearly a lifelong Alaskan and spends year round enjoying Alaska’s backcountry. He currently resides in Eagle River with his wife and 2 dogs. For the past 4 years, during the summer, Adam is a State of Alaska Wildfire Hotshot. Working, camping, and hiking among some of our country’s largest wild fires. Adam is the squad boss on his fire crew, putting him responsible for the safety of 9 other lives. Adam has been thoroughly trained on survival, holds certificates for 1st aide, Red Card and CPR. Adam works with helicopters all throughout the summer while fighting fire, ensuring the safety of his crew and the pilots. During the winter, Adam spends his time snowboarding Alaska’s backcountry. Usually by snow machine, which allows him to get to some of the most remote terrain Alaska has to offer on nearly a daily basis. He finds great freedom and adrenaline in choosing his own line down a mountain. He has participated in Avalanche courses and wears an Avalung while riding. Adam has been filmed for the past 2 winters by binge. and holds key parts in their ski/snowboarding videos, and will continue to do so this year. |
