| Introduction | I am 66 years old. I was born in Houston, Texas in the home of my Aunt. I have 3 sisters and 1 brother. We have lived in the Brazosport area for most of my life I went to Business school and worked for several years as a secretary. I was married at 18 and had my son a year later. My daughter came in August four years later. They are both wonderful adults now with children and grandchildren of their own. My interest in photography is in it's infant stage although I did purchase a great camera, lenses, etc. with all the bells and whistles. I've had a couple of lessons to learn how to use my camera. I also am into art. I like to draw and paint portraits. I especially like to draw children. I don't know how I forgot my love of flower and vegetable gardening. Most days you will find me in the yard with a shovel and wheelbarrow in hand. I think I have worn out at least 4 or 5 of them. My grandsons and I dug the koi pond in my back yard. It has brought me several years of peaceful enjoyment. The last 3 years, my daughter and I have vacationed together and now we are planning to visit Europe next May 2009. I am excited and looking forward to this adventure. |
