| Favorite books | off the Map: I've recently discoverd this cooperative publishing company called Crimthinc. that publishes awesome books and zines and most forms of media. Anything by them has my approval. I think fugitive pieces is an important book. Breakfast at Tiffany's...simply beautiful, Raymond Carver ranks up there and i still have a soft spot for catcher in the rye. i like Makeda Silvera and Michelle Tea's books are an enjoyable read. Graphic novels and comics: Black hole, wet moon, a velvet glove cast in iron, anything by julie doucet, Maus, the Budha series, buffy of course, paris, local, eight ball, perogie cat, Degrtias, embroideries, p.s. i like vampires and zombies and women who kick ass like street angel, Blanket, any type of political or free school zines, kicking at clouds, peaking on oil...harry potter books...monkey beach, zine's like the future generation |
