Introduction	ABOUT THIS SPACE: This blog is dedicated to visual arts. In addition to my own work I feature mostly two-dimensional pieces authored by artists established and undiscovered who I find inspiring. While admiring their work, I in no way ever copy it in my creations, and always credit them, and link back to the source of posted images. I hope this blog inspires others to surround themselves by art and find ways to express themselves. Sometimes the simplest designs can bring meaningful beauty into your day whether they are your own or others. ABOUT ME: Before I begin, each sheet of paper requires that I learn its texture, fibers and knots for my x-acto knife to find the best route for its cuts. When using solid paper I first draw the intended cut lines with a pencil on the reverse side - this allows me to cut the entire design in one beautiful piece.
