Introduction	OK I am 68. A late starter in my nutrition career. The timing could not have been better. When I was finishing up my master's got a job and internship at Cabrini Medical Center (RIP). AIDS was epidemic- An opportunity to make a difference. I had volunteered for 2 years at the hospital with the patients- the experience and the passion a good fit...hospital and community. Retired kind of- but a challenging opportunity to change course entirely- now with children - Head Start. Have a great boss,support and the time to devote to child nutrition- menu changes,education, with teachers,cooks families all for the love of the kids. Life never gets boring or predictable. This is passion- never had children- now I have over 100 age 3 months to 5 years old. My work is but a few hours weekly on site- so there is lots of time to enjoy life
Interests	Books- love history,Music - love jazz, animals - love dogs, Games -love Wordscraper on FB or scrabble anywhere, anyhow, anytime, Social Justice- environment, education, equality what's right, childhood nutrition and the end to childhood abuse.
Favorite movies	This one is really hard=Just joined MOMA plus movies. Love documentaries- Gandhi is a a favorite, Lincoln, Just watched 4 Kathryn Bigelow films at MOMA The Hurt Locker etc.... She redirects famous actors
Favorite music	Jazz, Motown and Philly Sounds from the start. musicians have such heart- can't fake it My new best musician is Joe Alterman- a swinging piano player who just blows my mind.<www.joealterman.com > You really have to hear him and see the show- he brought the house down at the Iridium last week with his trio and special guest sax Houston Person. AMAZING SOUND
Favorite books	Presidential bios are my favorites - Love the history of the US and it is told around these bios. -- Lincoln, Johnson, Truman, FDR, JFK Current read is Winston Churchill and Gandhi- so history of Great Britain and India.
