| Introduction | Don't ring the bell it's broken,you'll be standing there until the cows come home,which might be a very long time as I'm beginning to suspect there are no cows here.Please knock loudly (I'm up on the third floor so I might not hear you otherwise) Oh and if the milkman has left any milk please would you bring it up with you.I don't expect he has but we live in hope... Anyway,knock and I'll buzz you in,then take the lift on the left and ask the operator old Mr.Quarterpast to take you up to the fourth floor and he will press the second floor button for you which will take you to the third floor. Confusing I know,but it's the wiring,mostly Mr.Quarterpast's wiring,but to be fair the lift has seen better days too,all a bit string and paper clips on the repair front,although that said I've some parts on order,it's only been three or four years so assuming the wagons have made it through The Great Swamp of Swamp it'll only be a couple more years before they make it to the wobbly bridge at Wobblybridge and....well look you don't want to hear all my troubles, come up and I'll put the kettle on... I'm pretty sure I've got some biscuits here somewhere,I'll have a bit of a rummage.. |
