| Introduction | served six terms as mayor of Rutland City between 1987 and 1999. He has also served as president of the Rutland City School Board in the early 1980's, and as Rutland's Planning Coordinator under Mayor Jack Daley. Mr. Wennberg served four and one half years as Vermont's Commissioner of Environmental Conservation under Governor Jim Douglas.
