My blogs
| Introduction | For more than 40 years, I had the privilege of working in the newsroom at two daily newspapers that were outstanding in those days before their business models collapsed: The Cape Cod Times and The Day of New London, Conn. And I was fortunate to be able to work both sides of the aisle, on the visual and the word side. I was director of photography and graphics editor at both papers. On the word side, my first job was as a reporter, then I became Sunday editor of the Cape Cod Times, and for a literally entertaining four years, I was arts editor at The Day. After leaving The Day, I completed my Masters in Journalism Education at Kent State University. Onward! |
