| Introduction | Howdy!!! I'm a 27 year veteran in the Logistics Industry, a cake decorator, and own my own hand poured candle company! Have two children and two grand babies, and love my life! | Interests | On December 6, 2011 I was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer and have gone through 11 months of chemo and radiation...and all of the aftermath - good and bad - that goes along with the stigma that is Cancer! At this point, I am cancer free, and was very fortunate that I did not have to have a mastectomy so my girls are still mine.....but its been a long hard road. I did loose my hair eyebrows and eyelashes and its all finally starting to grow back and I have been feeling better then ever the last couple of weeks. I kind of shut down because people can be really shallow, and during the last 11 months, I have learned much about who I am, who I have become, and who I hope to become in the future. I have also learned much about the difference between true friends and "acquaintences" and have learned much about who is REALLY there when the times get tough....God and Family.....I am in recovery - and rediscovering life - One tiny miracle at a time! |
