Introduction	Although I've been raised in the Christian faith I consider myself an infant in spiritual formation. For the first time in 36 years I'm curious about what faith really means to me. Why do United Methodists believe what they do? Who are the pioneers of my faith? What will it take to re-energize my generation in faith traditions? Are we interested in keeping those traditions or should we explore fresh new traditions of our own?
