Introduction	I am a single mom of three wonderful children and a full time Registered Nurse. Each day I try to balance my love for my kids and my passion for my career, amidst sqeezing in my hobbies, interests and maybe a tiny bit of "me" time. At 35, I am only now beginning to delve into the core myself. I want to find out why I am the way I am and how to be the best me that I can be. I'm looking at a long road ahead, but I'm taking it one day at a time. Why did I name this blog "Don't Speed on Sundays?" Most everything significant in my life, bad and good, has coincidentally happened on a Sunday. That includes getting speeding tickets. Many people see Sunday as a day to rest and /or to worship their God. Sundays for me have become a day to slow down and take personal inventory of my life at the moment.
Interests	Singing, songwriting, camping, fishing, blogging, writing, reading, dancing, spending time with my children, spending time with my dogs, shopping, learning, educating.
Favorite movies	The Color Purple, Black Swan, House of Sand and Fog, Clockwork Orange, Seems Like Old times, Coming to America, and I just realized 3 of my top movies have a color in the title! ;-)
