| Introduction | I am an optometric educator and am currently associate dean of clinical affairs at the College of Optometry, Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. I have run the Optometric Residency Matching Service since 1995 and have been on the Board of Directors since its founding in 1984. I have been involved in residency education since 1974.
