| Introduction | I am a Spanish teacher with more than ten years' experience in independent schools in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and now Washington DC. When I'm not teaching, I like to read, travel, or play sports (especially volleyball). I grew up in Massachusetts, but work and school (both mine and my wife's) have kept me moving, including long stays in Spain, England, and The Gambia, West Africa. I have been blessed with wonderful life experiences, and I try to bring something of them into the classroom with me every day. My favorite thing about being a teacher is that moment when a student who has been struggling with something finally understands. It makes my day. |
