Introduction I am the chair of the Bachelor of Arts in Creative Arts with concentrations in Theatre, Visual Arts and Arts Management at William Jessup University, I am Artistic Director of the Americana Theatre Company, a consultant to Christian Universities for arts programming, and a former professor of theatre at Regent University. I love my wife, Jennifer, family, friends, people, the Bible,creative storytelling, Christianity and the Arts, and this big, wonderful, mysterious life that we are blessed to live in.
Interests Dance (especially tap), old movie musicals, musical theatre, Nature, hiking, spending time with friends and family, reading, travelling, Christian Aesthetics, Christianity, artistry, craftsmanship, creative storytelling, singing, running, visiting historical areas, going to theme parks, roller coasters, architecture, New England, Movies (especially action movies...go figure), Going out to eat, playing music (guitar, piano, bass, drums, ukulele, banjo), writing music, and now...blogging.
Favorite Movies Jaws, The Indiana Jones series (minus the last hiccup), White Christmas, Ghostbusters, The Incredibles, Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs, Monsters vs. Aliens, Twister, M. Night Shyamalan's movies (most of 'em), many more...again, you see the action movie theme here.
Favorite Music John Denver, Sinatra, Jimmy Eat World, Aerosmith, Def Leppard, Dashboard Confessional, Journey, Styx, Lincoln Brewster, Celtic music, Dropkick Murphy's, Billy Joel, and many more... a lot from the 80's and 90's, my formative years.
