Introduction	I grew up in Norfolk and Virginia Beach, Virginia. I have loved art in most forms as far back as I can remember, and I received a full Art Camp Scholarship (applied for by my Art teacher at Kempsville Jr. High, and not revealed to me until I got the acceptance letter in the mail!) from the University of Kansas during the summer of 1970. I graduated from Kempsville High School and attended some art sculpture classes at ODU (Hermitage Museum) and some entry level computer classes at TCC. Both of my parents were artistically inclined, as well as my both of my grandfathers and one Great Grandfather that I am aware of, so I guess it's in the gene pool
