Occupation Sustainable Rancher
Location Terlingua, TX, United States
Introduction We are a young family with a "hobby" farm in the Chihuahuan Desert of far West Texas. We currently supplement our diet with meat and eggs from our heritage breed chickens. Our surplus eggs, as well as homemade cactus jelly, and baked-goods will be for sale year-round at our farm stand on Highway 118. We hope to someday have goats that will provide dairy and meat. Raised-bed gardens will in the future provide sustainably produced fruit, grains, and vegetables.
Interests Sustainable farming and ranching, heritage breed chickens, Nigerian dwarf goats, caprine dairy & soap, protection of animal welfare, healthy & sustainable food.
